The Department of Geosciences hosts the CERAMIC PETROLOGY GROUP Annual Meeting 2025

Thursday 20th February 2025 - Classroom 1B (1st Floor)

Pre-meeting thin-sections training in the microscopy laboratory: all participants can share their experience in the analysis of thin sections of ceramics and mortars, clarifying doubts about description and having the opportunity to observe materials from different archaeological contexts and periods. The day will therefore be dedicated to master and Ph.D. students, and post-doc (experienced with the polarised-light microscope), who will also participate in the next day's meeting.
