The internship represents a completion of the training activities carried out by the student in his degree path. It offers the opportunity to directly address the problems of the world of research and work, providing information on the potential of the future geologist in both scientific and professional fields, in the context of public and private companies.
The internship can be carried out in public and private companies, including university laboratories and research centers. It consists of all those activities aimed at the creation of useful products for the realization of research and application projects.
For information on how to start the internship, refer to the https://www.unipd.it/en/internships web page and the Career Service office (049.8273075, stage@unipd.it).
To obtain the CFUs, it is possible to carry out an internship in the laboratories of the Department of Geosciences or as part of experimental theses (internal traineeship), in the latter case the initial data collection activity will be considered. The procedure is also the same for external traineeships as for internal traineeships.
Upon completion of the internship, the student must fill in an end-of-internship certificate and send it to mario.floris@unipd.it signed by the company tutor or, in the case of internal internships, by the thesis supervisor or by the laboratory manager. Subsequently, the student will be able to register for the first session useful for the achievement of the CFU.
