Tribute concert in memory of Riccardo Pozzobon

Last September, a tragic accident during a work mission in Alaska claimed the life of Riccardo Pozzobon, planetary geologist, researcher at the Department of Geosciences of the University of Padua, and collaborator with the European Space Agency as an astronaut instructor.

Alongside his scientific activity, Riccardo was deeply involved in music. A keyboard player of great sensitivity, he participated over the years in numerous musical projects, fostering collaboration and shared creativity.

Friends and bands with whom he played will pay tribute to his memory with a concert to be held on Sunday, January 18, starting at 6:00 pm, at the Teatro Polivalente in Abano Terme (Via Donati 1). The event is intended as a moment of remembrance and community gathering.

Riccardo was known for his ability to connect people, in music as in life and scientific research, accompanying others with discretion and generosity, and helping them bring out their best.

The event is free and open to the public. During the evening, voluntary donations may be made in support of his family.
