River Watching meets GREEN Rivers: the first project meeting of two funded PRIN projects with common reseaerch interests

On October 9, the Department of Geosciences hosted the project meeting ' River Watching meets GREEN Rivers". Two recently funded PRIN projects (CUP 20223RXTHB and E53D23021920001) with PI and Co-PI Prof Simone Bizzi, from the Department of Geosciences of the University of Padova, and Prof. Walter Bertoldi, from the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering of the University of Trento, have common research aims to understand how river geomorphic dynamics, sediment transport and vegetation growth are interlinked.

These regular meetings allow project integrations extending project outputs and allowing together to cover analysis from the lab to the satellite imagery addressing from local to the basin scale of analyses.
