International Geodiversity Webinar 2024: the event will take place on October, 29

To celebrate the third edition of the International Geodiversity Day, the International Association of Geomorphologists organises a webinar entitled "Geomorphological Diversity of the 2nd 100 IUGS (International Union of Geological Sciences) Geological Heritage Sites”.
It will be conducted on October, 29 (Tue), 15:00-17:00 CET. You will listen to three speakers from Canada, Italy and Poland, who will illustrate the importance of the International Geodiversity Day with concrete examples.
In this framework, Francesco Sauro of the Department of Geosciences of Università degli Studi di Padova will deliver a talk titled: "The table mountains of the Gran Sabana, karst, weathering and speleologenesis in quartz-rich rocks.”
Participation is free, but registration is mandatory.
