The Department of Geosciences welcomes all the students who are about to start the new academic year.

Each meeting will be an opportunity to get to know each other and to find out more on the courses and services offered by the Department.

For the students enrolled in the Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences, the meeting is on Wednesday, October 1 at 10.30 am in Arduino classroom. You will be welcomed by Professor Nereo Preto, president of the course. The services of the Geosciences Library will also be presented and there will be also a question and answer session.

For students enrolled in the Bachelor’s degree Earth & Climate Dynamics, completely taught in English, the meeting is on Monday, September 29 at 2.30 pm in Arduino classroom at the Department of Geosciences. This meeting has been organized together with the President, Prof. Fabrizio Nestola and with Prof. Claudia Agnini. After the introduction remark of Prof. Claudia Agnini you will have the opportunity to learn about didactic issues and specific services for international students. You will also get an insight about the Library services.

The presence is strongly recommended for students already arrived in Padova. The meeting will be also held online on Zoom for students still abroad

The welcome meeting of the Master's degree in Environmental Geology and Earth Dynamics (study track: Geologia Applicata alla Difesa del Suolo) will take place in presence on Wednesday, October, 1 at 12.30 am in 2L classroom. You will be welcomed by Professor Nereo Preto, president of the course and Prof. Paolo Fabbri, referent for the study track, The services of the Geosciences Library will also be presented and there will be also a question and answer session.
