On Wednesday, September 11, we celebrated the first Annual Meeting of the Department of Geosciences of the University of Padua.

It's been a great opportunity to learn more about the interests of research of newly hired personnel, in a Department which over the past few years has experienced significant growth.

This initiative, which has been proposed by the Scientific Committee of the Department, aims to foster the sharing of knowledge among our community in a convivial atmosphere and it is the starting point to establish a recurrent yearly event.

The day started with a talk session in Aula Arduino where ten speakers, among newly hired personnel, presented their current research. After that, the day continued on the second floor with a poster session set up along the corridors. The event wrapped up with some delicious refreshments provided by the Department.
