Master’s Degree in Geophysics: interview with the first graduated students

Abdulghany Abdullah Abualnour Ahmed and Enamerherhe Donald Akpoesiri are the first two students who obtained the Master's Degree in Geophysics for Natural Risks and Resources at the University of Padova.
This Master's Degree, completely taught in English, was launched in A.A. 2020-2021 and it was the first international educational program of the Department of Geosciences. It aims to train professionals in the theory and applications of geophysical methodologies for the exploration and characterization of the subsoil, with a multidisciplinary approach.
Abdulghany Abdullah Abualnour Ahmed’s thesis focused on the development of a survey design for geothermal exploration with a comparison between 2D seismic and 3D seismic dataset.
Enamerherhe Donald Akpoesiri’s thesis has been dedicated to the characterization of salt marshes subsoil in the Venice Lagoon using electromagnetic induction method.
