In recent years, the Department of Geosciences has experienced significant growth in both personnel and research interests. To foster the integration of research activities and knowledge sharing, the Department's Scientific Committee has proposed an initiative that aligns strongly with the University of Padova's policies: the Department's Annual Meeting.

The second edition of this yearly event will take place on the afternoon of Thursday, June 19th, 2025. The general program is shown in the image above and in the attached file.

This Annual Meeting serves as a platform to showcase our diverse research activities, promote collaboration, and strengthen our departmental community. It represents an excellent opportunity for networking, sharing ideas, and exploring potential interdisciplinary projects.

We strongly encourage all Department staff to actively participate in this important initiative, which aims to become a regular fixture in our academic calendar.

PROGRAM

• From 2:15 to 2.30 OPENING SESSION
• From 2:30 to 4:30: TALKS in ARDUINO CLASSROOM

Newly hired personnel will share some of their current research in 10 minutes long oral contributions and 2 minutes of Q/A.

• From 4:30 onward: POSTER SESSION (EASTERN ENTRANCE)

Meet Ph.D. students and Postdocs as they present their research in an informal setting, accompanied by light refreshments and drinks
