The fifth International Diamond School 2023 starts today, the 20th of February, at “Casa della Gioventù of the University of Padova in Bressanone”.
80 participants, from 16 different countries and from all 5 continents, will be attending theory and laboratory classes of the event.
The School, organized by the Department of Geosciences of the University of Padova, is mainly addressed to Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and PhD students, but many senior researchers and professionals from the industry are also registered. Among the speakers of this 5th edition there are the most famous scientists in the world in this research field.
The first four editions of the School were held in 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2018 and the event is a worldwide point of reference offering a complete overview of the most recent progress in the field of scientific research on diamonds ranging from petrology to geochemistry, from mineralogy to mineral physics, from gemology to diamond exploration.
