The Executive Office is responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing document flow, computerised protocol, the department's archive and the digital storage of documents.

In addition, it provides administrative support to the department's collegiate bodies and management, handles files and procedures relating to teaching staff and technical-administrative staff, and is involved in the verification phase of agreements and contractual amendments and in processes relating to the recruitment of external staff.
